As part of the Jubilee celebrations, the AOD fleet including
newly launched Avocet assembled on the River Axe for the
Jubilee Fleet Review. Saturday 3
rd June saw the AODs take up their moorings adjacent to Coronation Green; with each boat dressed overall. At 11:00 the chartered ‘
K.E.Y.S. Yacht’ steamed up the river to
take the review. A crowd gathered on the Green to cheer on the
Yacht as she passed the fleet. Following this, a champagne reception was held on the Green for the
VIPs and Owners. The gathered fleet made a splendid sight, adding some colour to the otherwise quiet estuary!
