Built: 2022 to 2024 by John Williams at Pinhay, near Lyme Regis.
John Williams graduated from the Lyme Regis Boat Building Academy in 2020. John wanted to complete his own traditional build that could be sailed locally and in particular introduce his young grandson to the water. He established his own small workshop and spent a very happy 2 years building Puffin predominately on his own with support from family and the AOD community. Puffin had her inaugural sail on 22 May 2024; John was very pleased (and relieved) that Puffin handled well and seemed competitive with the rest of the fleet!
