On an unusually warm and pleasant evening by the standards of this summer’s weather, the last river race of the year took place on the Axe last night, and five of the Axe One Designs were sailing. There was very little wind. The first (and only!) boat across the finishing line was original Axe One Design Whimbrel, sailed by Nigel Daniel. More photos will be added here shortly.
